Great stay....thank you very much!! I wish all of the cottages had as good of view of the lake as Cottage #5. It would be a big plus for the nice screened in porches. I forgot to mention when dropping keys off, that I thought I could smell gas a bit in Cottage 3. It did not bother us, but maintenance may want to check it and see what they think. Thanks again!!!

I helped set up for a wedding and I can't say enough great things about the staff!!!! Anything that we needed help with they were there. Everything from ladders to scissors! I stay in hotels two to three nights a week...the staff was so warm and friendly!

I don't know his name, but one of the custodial crew kept the fireplace full. It was raining and cold our time there, but the time spent on the leather couch in front of the fireplace was most memorable. VERY relaxing.

We forgot our suitcase and asked if you had toothpaste, toothbrush, etc we could buy. The front desk gal gave us complimentary amenities. That sure made our "suitcase" mistake easier to handle and made our stay much more pleasant.

The room was lovely! we did bring in a table from the exercise room in order to have an eating area. But overall - it was fabulous. The service was excellent! Everyone was friendly and helpful. We specifically appreciated Jeff (maintenance) helping us get our car unstuck!

We skied. We arrived on Friday and only a few of the classic trails were groomed but Saturday morning everything was groomed. Great weekend. We have been coming to Heartwood for about 4 years, during winter, summer and fall. Great location, very enjoyable.

This was my third stay this winter and the desk staff and maintenance staff (ran in to them while walking around) are always so friendly. And the front desk staff has been extremely accommodating with early check-ins and late check-outs when it hasn't interfered with any other reservations. I greatly appreciate that. We walked the snow shoe trail during our most recent stay. It's so wonderful that you have so much space and share it with your guests. We thoroughly enjoyed our walk through the woods and the warm-up building and complimentary water cooler afterward. Thank you!

Broomball was great, tube hill was great, I caught a few fish. Wonderful!!! We love heartwood. I am a FR with Thrivent and I promote it to my members. Our furnace in the duplex stopped working during the night, the staff responded and fixed it in a timely manner, and brought fresh muffins, WOW!!

Had a wonderful stay! Wish we could have stayed the 3 nights we planned for, but the weather forecast was too iffy to chance it. Appreciated being able to cancel the third night with no penalty or cost. Definitely will come back! Appreciated the flexibility of when I made the reservation (thanks, Lindsey!). Great recommendation of where to go for lunch nearby (Long Branch was very good). Definitely will share our experience with colleagues and friends.

My small group of women was looking for a facility to have a retreat. We were very blessed to have found Heartwood. The retreat was affordable for all group members and the facility had rec. options that we enjoyed from hot tub to basketball to kayaking!!

I enjoyed my stay very much. Your rooms, common areas and grounds are beautiful. I loved the quiet (no highway noise). I don't know names, but the two gals at the front desk at check in and check out were very helpful, efficient and friendly. As was the maintenance man who looked at our heater.
