The Pine Lodge Restaurant at Heartwood is located on beautiful Lake Julia, one of two private lakes on the 700-acre resort property. Pine Lodge Restaurant opened in December 2011, and seats 100 guests in the dining room and lounge, and feature contemporary Wisconsin cuisine made from fresh, locally-grown ingredients with signature menu items such as: Walleye Cakes, Ribeye Steak and Espresso Crème Brulee.
The restaurant has Northwoods décor in a lodge setting, offering memorable dining experiences in a comfortable atmosphere that is both fun and family-friendly.
The lounge features your favorite games on high definition televisions.
For breakfast and lunch "grab & go" options: check out the Snack Shack or the Gift Shop in the Eagle Lodge. There is an assortment of delicious pizzas available.
The resort has access to Trail #8 for snowmobile enthusiasts, with a scenic drive to the restaurant and plenty of parking.
Gasoline is available at the Snack Shack.
Heartwood also connects to ATV route (please stay on roads).
A native of Webster, WI, Zac attended the prestigious Culinary Institute of America, in Hyde Park, New York, where he proved his determination to create a solid foundation for his culinary career by working as a line cook while attending school. Upon graduation in 2007, he was hired as a Sous Chef at Il Barilotto in Fishkill, New York, to work under Executive Chef, Wayne Homsi. He honed his skills, mastering the art of pastas, risottos, and other regional Italian favorites. In 2009, he became the Sous Chef at The Mayflower Inn & Spa, a Relias Chateaux property in Washington, CT. There he trained under Executive Chef, Justin Ermini, and learned the level of refinement required for true fine dining. In December of 2010, he was presented with the opportunity to come home, and with his understanding of the Midwest, he was able to add modern twists to Wisconsin fare, and create cuisine truly his own.
